Seiko 130th Anniversary – Seiko 5 models

Here are some Seiko 130th Anniversary models for the Seiko 5 line that I saw in a catalog. They are powered by the new 4R36 automatic movement with hack and handwind features.

Shown above is a model with world time bezel. Model number is SRP132. This model looks a bit like the Fifty-five Fathoms model.

Below are two regular editions for this model.

New Seiko Ambassador

While reading the newspaper this morning, I was surprised to see a different guy in the Seiko Criteria ad. Apparently, they have changed their ambassador from Daniel Wu to Wang Leehom, a well known musician and actor in Asia. Those in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore should be familiar with him.

Ananta chronograph diver to be released in July 2011

Saw on Seiko’s website that the Brightz Ananta chronograph diver will be released in July 2011. Shown above is the 130th Anniversary limited edition model, SAEK015. It’s model number outside Japan is SQR013.

Besides the limited edition model, there is also a regular edition with stainless steel case and bracelet.

Here’s a SBDC015 Fieldmaster that I saw recently. The 6R15 Fieldmasters were released some time back and from what I heard at Big Time, they are selling quite well especially the SBDC011.

Seiko released two new models powered by the 4R35 movement recently and real world pictures can now be seen on Isozaki Tokei’s blog. Shown above is the SARY005 that I plan to get.
