A local Seiko fan, Gary Chew shared with me pictures of his newly acquired SBGM029. This model is one of the two models release to commemorate the 10th Year Anniversary of the Grand Seiko GMT. The other model is SBGM031.
I also took the opportunity to update my GS GMT post with Gary’s pictures. Please check it out here.

At the Seiko boutique in Vivo City, they priced the other two regular models of GS GMT at more than SGD9000+. I find it pretty expensive. I have an older version of GS GMT in which I paid (second hand) at only SGD5000. I was told I could sell it for a profit now …
The older versions are almost the same as the current ones except they do not have 72 hours of power reserve. I have two of them and consider myself lucky to have bought them when they were cheaper.
