6309 dress watches from 1983

When we talk about 6309, we often refer to the vintage 150m divers – 6309-7040 and 6309-729X. Besides the divers, there are also vintage dress watches that are powered by the 6309 movement.

Here are two pieces that belong to local collector, Yeo TC.

Both pieces are Seiko 5 models with similar case shape. The first piece (shown above) has the “Royal Oak”  style while the second piece reminds me of Rado.

Here’s the second piece. Both pieces were made in 1983 and have similar hands and hour markers.
