I posted about the limited edition 4R36 divers last month and this month, Seiko released the three regular edition variants. The model numbers are SRP227 (shown above), SRP229 and SRP231 respectively.

The SRP231 comes on a Z22 strap while the other two are equipped with metal bracelet.

Saw these mid size automatic models at Big Time. Diameter is around 35/36mm. Comes with Sapphire crystal and display back. Suitable for ladies.

Andrew from the Philippines shared with me a few pictures of a new Seiko 5 model that was released over there. I have not seen these in Singapore yet but when I saw the pictures, the Rolex Oyster Quartz comes to my mind immediately. Next came the Explorer II. Strong resemblance there especially to the Oyster Quartz.

Once again, a new Seiko diver is released in the Singapore market. There are three variants and each variant is limited to 1300 pieces. This model has a plastic component that serves as a protective shroud. It is similar to the Frankenmonster except is it powered by the 4R36 movement.

I saw this Seiko 5 Sports recently and its design reminded me of a very similar model from 2008.

Here’s the model that I handled back in 2008. The case, bezel and knurled crown look very similar. Only the dial and minute chapter ring look different.  The newer model is also installed with a tuna style minute hand.

I believe it is powered by the 7S36 movement but I’m not sure whether it is B or C version of the movement. Here’s an orange variant.

These watches were released in December 2011 and I finally had the opportunity to handle them at H2 Hub (Parkway Parade) today.

This Solar powered chronograph diver SSC021P reminds me of the Ananta divers with its 3,6,9 layout and screw lock pushers. The second hand also looks very much like that of the Ananta diver.

I have posted a number of 4R36 Seiko 5 Sports 100 models in the past but this one below is latest model to hit the market along with the camouflaged model.
