Grand Seiko Hi-Beat Asia Limited Edition – SBGH017

I saw this watch at the Seiko 130th Anniversary Exhibition in Singapore not long ago. However, I had no idea what model it was. Finally, a reader of that post, Lewis checked with Thong Sia and found more info on it.

Here are some Seiko 130th Anniversary models for the Seiko 5 line that I saw in a catalog. They are powered by the new 4R36 automatic movement with hack and handwind features. New Seiko Ambassador

While reading the newspaper this morning, I was surprised to see a different guy in the Seiko Criteria ad. Apparently, they have changed their ambassador from Daniel Wu to Wang Leehom, a well known musician and actor in Asia. Those in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore should be familiar with him.

Ananta chronograph diver to be released in July 2011

Saw on Seiko’s website that the Brightz Ananta chronograph diver will be released in July 2011. Shown above is the 130th Anniversary limited edition model, SAEK015. It’s model number outside Japan is SQR013. Besides the limited edition model, there is also a regular edition with stainless steel case and bracelet.

Here’s a SBDC015 Fieldmaster that I saw recently. The 6R15 Fieldmasters were released some time back and from what I heard at Big Time, they are selling quite well especially the SBDC011.
