Dear Yeoman, I’ve just bought Seiko SRP 175J1 Cal.4R36, w/ Hand Winding and hackable feature at Thong Sia 3′rd Nov 2011 last week. The watch are still made in Japan. The Accuracy is prety good. It’s About -2 Sec per day and very consistent. I have s Question about the hand winding. How many wound should i do for the watch? Do I have to winding it every day?
Hi Ricky,
Congrats on the Seiko Presage. It is a self-winding watch with hand wind feature. Therefore, you don’t have to wind it everyday if you are wearing it on a daily basis.
Best regards,
Thomas
Thx for U’r suggestion
Best Regards,
Ricky
The second hand looks like the one on the seiko velatura range
Yes, it’s very similar to the one on the Velatura range. Thanks for pointing it out.
A very nice look pretty much ruined in my opinion. The spoiling factors are the crappy plastic 60 seconds/minutes chapter rings and the overly styled bezels. Those plastic chapter rings (like on my SNZG07K1) really cheapen the overall dial look. Imagine for instance how good that beige dial with applied markers would look without the cheesy glittery, glossy chapter ring. And what in tarnation is the function of the little bars between the first 4 major divisions? Seiko has done this before (SNZH69K1 and others) and it always seemed to me to have all the stylish utility of a bad toupee. Am I being too harsh?
Actually the chapter ring does not look too bad unlike the one on the SNZG07.
The the little bars on the bezel are really redundant.
only the yellow looks good imo – like Bumblebee!
Ya, the other colours are standard Seiko 5 colours.
